Know Money is a project designed and aimed at raising the financial literacy of the youth of Sri Lanka. The current financial literacy rate of Sri Lanka is at 35% (Daily News, 2022). This project aims to bridge that gap, and is available for delivery in all 3 languages used in Sri Lanka.

1. Awareness sessions on financial management and basics of investing

3. The sessions are delivered by both internal and external trainers

OUTCOMES

1. Increase financial hygiene among youth


2. Amplify the path to financial independence among youth

IMPACT

So far, the project has had 56 beneficiaries, who experience a direct impact from this project. It is likely that the impact spans further, as the youth are likely to share this knowledge with their peers and family members.
