Macondo Informado was an awareness project to promote citizen participation in Colombian electoral processes, encouraging critical thinking and informed opinion on political issues across generations.

The project displayed the proposals of the candidates and their positions on topics of interest, together with an analysis that helped young readers to digest the information in context. The effort was justified given the great need to cover information gaps that could be filled by false news or manipulated information.
