This project seeks to educate citizens and government officials on the importance of accessible public spaces with the aim of amending the state policy for disabled persons with the provision for their right to comfortably access public amenities.

The project objectives include:

• Two open house events in Hyderabad to educate and make people aware of the current state of public amenities with respect to people with physical disabilities


• Policy recommendations to the Telangana state government


• Partnering with the state government to make restaurants easier to access for persons with disabilites
