Impact

Art for Climate

The Art for Climate Project aims to use the power of art to influence behavior change in the community, while empowering young artists. 20 young artists who are passionate about environmental issues will be upskilled on sustainability and textile industry’s climate impact. They will be creating artworks with informed by their experience at the seminar series then, we will be supporting and enabling them throughout their creation process with our Advisory Council consisting of sustainability experts, textile experts and artists. The resulting artworks will be displayed in an exhibition.

Short Term Goals

1.1. Upskilled young artists

1.2. Creation of a platform where artists, climate activists, textile industry members and come together

Mid-Term Goals

2.1. Young artists to create further impact through the actions they pledged at the end of the seminar series

2.2. Formation of community of young artists working on climate change through the alumni network


Long-Term Goals

3.1. Behaviour change in the exhibition visitors

3.2. Raising awareness in the community about the effects of textile industry on climate change
