Blood4All Panama City

#Blood4All is a global initiative that aims to engage with people through social media to spark a conversation about becoming voluntary blood donors and encouraging people to take action donating blood periodically.

The Panama City Hub is now continuing to work towards increased blood donations, which has included spreading awareness around how the blood shortage has been increased due to COVID-19.

Hub Activities:

Development of Educational Campaigns and Blood Drives with the support of local partners.

Short & Long-Term Goals/Results:

The core goals of Blood4All are to increase awareness around the need for blood donation, to solicit blood donation and to normalize blood donation by:

  1. Closing the supply gap, domestically and internationally.

  2. Developing new partnerships to support this cause

  3. Influencing community behaviors - aka # of units donated

  4. Raising Awareness - normalizing blood donation as part of community life.
