Cohorts of Compassion is a project that aims to build supportive communities of educators by creating a safe space for knowledge sharing and offering support. The hub will be running pilot programs with educational institutes, will provide orientations for all teachers that sign up for the program, set up communication channels for cohorts, resource fairs hosted by partners based on common themes raised in cohorts (made up of local organizations).

The goals of the project are:

• To provide a space for teachers to share challenges arising from their work and seek and support from peers facing similar challenges


• Build a community of teachers that enjoy peer support and mental well-being


• Provide resources in the form of knowledge and basic training through local experts to these communities of teachers

The impact that will be measured includes:

• Levels of satisfaction among teachers


• Number of opportunities for professional development


• Levels of connectedness among educators across schools within Pune Metropolitan Region
