Problem Statement: Young professionals in Latvia need to have a way to gain knowledge about mental health issues in order to reduce stigma surrounding the topic.


 


Target Group: FULL helps to connect young professionals with experts from different areas to create dialogue about mental health issues and treatment. Executed via interactive content on social media (Q&A sessions with experts, live streams), as well as live events, discussions, and workshops.


 


Proposed Solution: FULL aims to reduce misperceptions about mental health among young professionals by educating individuals on the topic.


 


Hub Activities: The project activities include:





  • Employer survey about mental sustainability and mental wellbeing during the pandemic and periods of remote work developed in collaboration with the Employer’s Confederation of Latvia;




  • Toolkit of best practices for employers to ensure a healthier working environment published on social media platforms;




  • Social media campaign - sharing of good practices to preserve the mental health while working remotely;




  • “Ask a specialist” - a virtual mailbox, for submitting anonymous questions about mental health topics to a specialist;




  • A series of online events with experts from the field about mental health topics.




 


Short & Long-Term Goals/Results: Currently the project aims to: reach 100 000 on social media platforms with interactive contents; reach at least 1000 young adults via live events; build necessary partnership with experts (mental health institutions, government, etc.) in order to educate at least 1000 young adults in Latvia about mental health.


 


Available Metrics: The project has:



  • Reached over 6000 people through social media posts.




 


Collaborators: Collaborators include psychologists and psychotherapists.
