The Global Youth Social Entrepreneurship Forum 2022 is a project initiated by the Global Shapers Community Chengdu Hub and co-hosted by Global Shapers Community Beijing Ⅱ Hub, Hangzhou Hub, Guangzhou Hub, Beijing 1 Hub, Shenzhen Hub, and Hong Kong Hub.
Goal
Aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals, the Forum aims to raise public awareness of social innovation and equip the youth with social innovation mindset and tools through site visits, training, mentorship, dialogues, and pitch events. The forum brings together the thought leaders, entrepreneurs, and policy-makers from the social innovation space to develop a new generation of social entrepreneurs.
Activities
The Hong Kong Hub will be contributing to the Smart City and ESG topics in this forum.
Target
a. Number of participants - 200-300 teams, about 1,500 people; 300-500 students visiting social enterprises; 5,000+ people participating in online and offline summits, with offline control of about 100 people due to the epidemic
b. Cross-Hub Collaboration - more than 20 hubs involved in direct and indirect cooperation
c. News and media coverage - coverage of the Social Enterprise International Youth Forum reaches 50 million views
d. Transformation of summit results: continuous follow-up support for summit projects, resulting in at least 10 registered social enterprises
