Problem Statement

People from Oruro is still very old fashioned in the way we work, still heavily depending on raw materials for economy. There is a huge need to changing the mind set of people to understand that the knowledge economy has arrived and that it is possible to take advantage of it with the use of technology and internet


Target Group

The target are Oruro people from 16 to 35 years old looking for new opportunities within Oruro with the help of technological advancements.


Proposed Solution

The proposed solution is a series of workshops starting with a Vocational orientation workshop.


Hub Activities

Hub activities are partnering with universities, partnering with industry, involving all the shapers, logistics for the event, designing the social media and publicity, designing the event feedback and follow up.


Shor and Long-term Goals

In the short term our goals is to measure the relevance of this roadshows in Oruro and get the organization Global Shapers to be known in the city, in the long term the goal is to get people to get involved and start studying and working for new technologies and areas of the Orange Economy.


Available Metrics

Reach in social media, the actual number of participants, the actual number of follow ups people that still get in touch with Global Shapers and the actual number of people that get to work in Orange Technology.


Collaborators

Collaborators are universities and the industry in Oruro, ONGs and we will look for support from a food business for meals during the event
