Our project aims to tackle three challenges simultaneously:(1) Promote gender equality;(2) Combat discrimination; and(3) Better integrate refugees. We tackle these three themes in both traditional and non-traditional ways. We have co-hosted high-level events (for example, for International Women’s Day and at C2 Montreal, a global business conference) as well as individual speaking events at academic institutions or publications in local journals. We also host “Meet the Leader” series to engage in dialogue with different leaders in our community. Finally, we use a telescope for spontaneous forays within the city, as a means to build community in public spaces and start conversations on topics rarely discussed  with passersby.
