The hub aims to provide information on the importance of adhering to the new law that prohibits the use of single use plastics and link businesses with suppliers that offer biodegradable materials and mentor in how eliminate single-use plastics.

The goal is to select from 3 to 5 local chains of businesses in Aguascalientes to help them eliminate single-use plastics by making the transition to biodegradable materials within the services they provide. The hub's role is to mentor businesses through this transition and to connect them with alternative suppliers. With this, the hub aims to reduce the tons of plastic that each business sends to landfill to 0 and to translate this amount of plastic to CO2 emissions that were not released to the environment.
