The Newark Hub advocates and provides support services to unemployed/underemployed youth and underrepresented young professionals through a series of awareness campaigns, workshops/trainings, Meet the Leaders series, and intentional partnerships and events.

Impact:

1. The Newark Hub hosted (two) workshop events for unemployed and underrepresented young professionals where Shapers supported them with their interview skills and resume creation in partnership with the City of Newark's 2020 initiative. At least 10 community members participated in workshops.


2. The Hub hosted (three) "Meet the Leader" events between May 2019-August 2019. Their goal was to create an opportunity for Newark community members to share space with trailblazers and experts of different industries.
