Qurva: Social Impact Startup Acceleration

Qurva aims to tackle the lack of acceleration organizations for small businesses with great social impact. In November 2017, within the framework of Entrepreneurship Week in the city of Rosario, the launch of Qurva, was announced. A few months later, in February 2018, the first acceleration process was officially initiated with the “El Costurero de LyF” venture, a sewing coworking space that provides workshops and sewing courses for women in vulnerable situations. The project is working as a space for containment and social integration for revaluing the trade of "seamstresses". This pilot test became the first success story of the accelerator, not only in terms of the progress of the organization but also because the growth and learning was mutual, managing to develop a methodology and procedure of its own and tailored to the mentoring organization. During 2019, a new acceleration process was carried out given the positive results obtained from the first edition and its impact on the entrepreneurial ecosystem and the local NGO and other organizations.
