ReCircular Generation is a project based in Beijing, dedicated to advancing the circular economy in China through practical engagement and enhanced societal awareness. Our initiative is built around three core components:

• Visiting local sustainable merchants, charities, warehouses, farms, and other organizations that practice reusability and recycling. These excursions provide participants with hands-on experience and a practical understanding of sustainable practices in action.
  
  • An example of this is organizing SDG Walk & Talks, where we host guided tours to different parts of Beijing that represent and practice sustainability.
  
  


• Conducting seminars and interactive sessions featuring experts and entrepreneurs in the circular economy space. These gatherings serve as platforms for sharing insights, discussing challenges, and exploring innovative solutions in sustainability.
  
  • An example of this is running Sharing Clothes & Ideas, where we hold a seminar on different aspects of the circular economy - while a clothing swap freely occurs on the sidelines.
  
  


• Partnering with local charities to amplify our impact. Through organizing practical events such as items swaps and donation drives, we engage the community in tangible acts of sustainability.

Through these initiatives, the goal is to inspire sustainable habits and build a mindset on reusing and recycling that can in turn inspire others - thereby helping foster a positive feedback loop - a (re)circular generation.
