Focus on the different discharge points in the coastal area of ​​the city of Ensenada

Hub Activities

Carry out collaborations with organizations whose objective is to have a map of the different discharge points as well as generate a space for awareness for the community.

Short-Term Goals:

• Reach an agreement with Professor George Sienger from the “ArcGis” class at UABC.


• Define internal equipment to identify contamination points and discharges.


• Define a monitoring schedule.


• Define the strategy of the awareness campaign.


• Create and define strategic alliances.

Long-Term Goals

• Segregate legal and illegal discharge points.


• Discharge point monitoring database (identify them).


• Geographic representation of illegal downloads (ArcGis preference).


• Have a public access interface of the pollution discharge point project.

Objective

Ensure that the society of Ensenada manages to raise awareness about the problem, by reporting and monitoring the different discharge points.
