Impact

Seminar Series

Our world is changing quickly, new challenges are arising and we need to react quickly to implement local changes in the community. As such, we, Shapers, and our partners in Frankfurt require effective tools to react best and continue our effective support. For this, we invite experts in their field to provide us with the theory, e.g. on effective leadership, status of migration in Europe and more, and some practical elements, so that we can immediately try out what we learned. Concretely, we are broadening the skillset of our hub and the people and projects that we collaborate with.

Our one hour long sessions are meant, on the one hand, to instill knowledge and a common ground for our work and, on the other hand, to create a stronger bond between us and (potential) partners. We aim to see this knowledge in use within the projects, either as a new project in itelf or in the better management of the existing ones. Our network should grow and the bonds improve, thus growing the sphere of impact that we create.

We measure the project by the number of people that joined the training (both virtual and in person) (aim: >10), the number of trainings that we held per year (aim: 12). We also use qualitative metrics, checking in with the projects and members a few days after session, to evaluate whether we need additional knowledge to adapt it to the project (new training), whether anything was unclear or whether someone thought of a project.

Our project collaborators are the experts from whom we are learning and on the other hand the people and companies (currently: SleeveUp!) that allow us to have the event in their rooms.
