Shape Your Data Career is a project by the Antananarivo Hub that aims to give young students a clear understanding of data careers. Our vision is to foster a data-driven culture among young students in Madagascar. In fact, when it comes to choosing a field in higher studies, young Malagasy do not have many choice and are not supported in various tech or data field. We are working to support high school graduates who are starting their studies, young students, and professionals who would like to be reoriented into data careers.

For this project, the Tana hub is giving a 4-weeks training for each cohort divided into 4 modules:

• Present the Data Career paths: explore variuous career options in the data field


• Equip with Essential Skills for success in data-related careers


• Hands on practical experience in data analysis


• Connect with Data Professionals by facilitating direct connections with experienced data professionals

The first cohort counted 20 graduates and we plan 3 cohorts for the 1st year

• We hope to reach 5 different town in Madagascar within 2 years


• Aim to extend to 200 graduates from the program within 2 years
