Impact

Shaping Rome

Problem Statement:

Lack of dialogue and collaboration between different actors to improve Rome, especially youth.

Target Group:

Youth organizations that carry out impactful projects in Rome

Proposed Solution:

The Rome Hub aims at creating a long lasting collaboration between institutions, business partners and youth organizations of Rome in the following areas: youth unemployment; urban mobility; digitalization and new jobs; social inclusion; food policy and urban regeneration.

Hub Activities:

In February, Hub organized a first event (online) where youth organizations, partners and the mayor of Rome were able to discuss on urgent issues and their solutions for Rome. From that event, several partnership started and a community of motivated youth has been created. At the beginning of July, a second event will bring together again the youth organizations with partners and the potential mayor that will candidate for the city’s elections in Fall 2021. The organizations will follow workshops aimed at strengthening their projects and skills. From that event, a 100 days countdown will start for organizations to implement their projects. Shaping Rome will end with a final event in November.
