Acting on the #ShapingMyCitysFuture challenge, the Barcelona Hub goal rallied social entrepreneurs in Barcelona under a common cause - the SDGs. The hub selected social entrepreneurs aligned with local issues, profiles relevant to the sponsors and which matched the global SDG hackathon, UNLEASH.ORG which took place in Singapore in 2018. There were over 90 participants and 15 sponsor companies, organized in teams to create 11 final startups, some of which had really advanced prototypes regarding the SDGs they were trying to solve.
